Christopher Pepe most recently served as Vice President of Business Development for Major League Soccer. Pepe oversaw the development of new league markets, negotiations with potential league investors, the creation of strategic business ventures, and the implementation of national philanthropic programs. Prior to his current position, Pepe served as the league's Vice President of Administrative Affairs, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the league office and personnel, negotiating stadium leases, and implementing a league-wide diversity awareness program. Pepe began his tenure at Major League Soccer in 1996 as Assistant to the Commissioner and Legal Counsel, establishing the league's offices in New York City. Born February 7, 1968 in Hartford, Connecticut, Pepe moved to Northern Italy at the age of one, and was later raised in Rockford, Illinois. Pepe graduated from Villanova University and Villanova Law School, and was admitted to the Illinois State Bar Association in 1994. Pepe currently lives in San Francisco with his fiancee and is an avid runner, photographer and chef.
